Iraq 60000tpy gypsum powder production line

This line was purchased in 2012 and was a project of local government.

The milling system has two MTW 138 with fineness of 100 mesh. The output of each unit is 13tph. One is used for routine production while the other is used as back-up.

Process introduction

The crusher smashes the natural large gypsum ore into small pieces of less than 30mm which shall be then stored and conveyed to the grinder for grinding into powder with feed rates under controlled by electro-vibrating feeder. The powder shall be screened with powder separator to get the required fineness. The qualified raw milled powder shall be conveyed to the fluidized bed combustion boiler for calcinations. The qualified gypsum powder after calcinations shall be delivered to the clinker warehouse or to the manufacturing workshop for using.

Customer feedback

The Iraqi governmental projects are mostly cooperated with European and American companies. It is the first try to use Chinese equipment by establishing business relations with ZENITH. All the fineness, initial setting time, final setting time and rupture strength of the finished gypsum powder meet with national standards and have won good feedback in domestic gypsum building material industry.
