Product Applications

1. Applicable for selection of fly ash: primary FA (45um ≤ 12%), secondary FA (45um ≤ 20%).

2. Applicable for selection of other powders whose fineness is below 400mm. Different requirements of fineness can be met.

Working Principle

After the mixture of gas and material enters the classifying rotor of the powder classifier , it is subjected to two forces. One is the centrifugal force generated by the swirling flow of the classifying rotor. This force throws coarse particles to the cylinder wall where particles fall into the coarse ash device. The other force is the aerodynamic drag generated by the vortex rotation which brings fine ash away from turbine blades and makes them drop into a fine ash device along with a cyclone separator. At the same time, the secondary air flow lifts the descending gas mixture upward in the classifying cylinder again, so that a part of fine powders in the mixed coarse powders have another sorting procedure. This is the reason why the classifier has high classification accuracy and high efficiency.

Technical Advantages

1. Flexible adjustment means: Adjustments about spindle speed, opening of main air valve, classifier impeller speed and opening of secondary air valve can be set as required.

2. High classification accuracy: Rate of sieve residue (45um) can be set freely from 1% to 20%. Positive and negative error is controlled within 1%.

3. Good applicability: Uneven as the fineness of raw material is and uneven as discharge amount is, the quality of finished products is free from influence.

4. Large processing amount: The powder selector adopts forced vortex centrifugal separation technology which has a great advantage in large processing volume.

5. Simple operation: All operations can be controlled with numbers on the operation panel. Accepting only half-a-day training, workers can be familiar with all operations. Experience accumulated is unnecessary.

6. Wear resistance: From the design principles and system operating parameters, ZENITH fully considered the performance of wear resistance by making some improvements on quick-wear parts. For example, fan impeller is thickened; classifier rotor is made from wear-resistant plate; the turbulent angle of the cylinder body and the air inlet of the powder selector is welded with wear-resistant pottery. Meanwhile, the angle of the wind deflector blade and the turning radius of the elbow, etc. are designed from the point of view of wear-resistance. The advanced welding wear-resistant pottery is hard to fall off although there is collision during transportation, installation and use.
